The 2021 Adult First Aid/CPR/AED is a classroom-based course that prepares students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults. Upon successful completion of this course, the participant will be able to demonstrate proficiency in providing rescue Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), operation of an auto-defibrillator, be able to recognize emergencies and perform life-saving skills to address someone choking, bleeding or encountering sudden illness.

The American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to assess, recognize and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction or opioid overdose. The 2021 American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification course is a blended online + classroom-based course that meets OHSA workplace requirements for Educators, Electricians, Law Enforcement, Construction Workers, and anyone wanting to learn critical skills to save a life.
This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent.
